A few days back was totally burnt in the heat of chennai so decided get a free treatment by droppin into the spencers. The place they say is the most happenin one in chennai but as on date i ve not seen any one purchasin anythin there . Other than that wat s there to happen i really dont understand.

stepped into the Landmark.. again "the most happenin place" in there.. browsin through all latest musical collections.. just then saw a prety lookin girls huntin for somethin . oops... the automatic trackin system got enabled and my footsteps followed hers..

she took me a lonely place of the mart. And yeah it was the section of books for the techies.. and no wonder why it was so deserted. She selected THE BOOK.. which is popularly known as the Final year Bible especially to the engineering Boys of chennai. BARON's GRE. Everyone had to read that to complete engineering and takin up a MS was only a secondary option. I always wondered how one can estimate the enginerrin capabalities of a final year student based on how many useless words he knows.

I smiled at her.. she gave me cold stare and walked away with a victory in her face which showed she had found her route to the usa.. But in reality i had not smiled @ her but at myself.

I was also into one of these books a long time back. It was my prefinal year in college and the whole class all of a sudden became real goody boys preparing for the placement interviews. I had no idea of wat was i upto and the pressure from people around especially my seniors was simply too much. Everyone wanted me to learn the basics of electrical and electronics.. ( Cmon man .. i am in final year and stil u want me to learn the basics.) do a project in C..( whihc no one uses today.) be more communicative.. ( not to waste time on sms.. ). I too had to find a way to escape from all this. Then came this bible.. With this in hand, no one dared me to ask anythin.. i ll just say i am gonna do my MS and not intrested in placements.
It was really a book that saved.

The day i got placed in infy.. put this in some second hand book stall. bought a beer for taht money. Now in infy ppl ask me wat my future plans are..
